Common questions

I'm not getting my sign-in code.

• Check your spam / promotions folder. Codes come from auth@coplot.io.
• Make sure you typed the right email.
• Codes expire after 1 hour — if more than that has passed, request a new one.
• If you tried multiple times in quick succession, wait ~10 minutes and try again — there's a per-email cooldown.

Reminders aren't firing.

• Open Coplot → Settings → Notifications → make sure the toggle is on.
• Check iOS Settings → Coplot → Notifications → "Allow Notifications" must be on.
• Reminders for events whose start time is already in the past won't fire.
• Make sure your phone isn't in Focus / Do Not Disturb mode.

How do I share my calendar with my partner?

• Settings → Sign in to sync. Enter your email, get a code, type it in.
• Settings → Household → Create household. Note the 6-character invite code.
• Send the code to your partner. They follow the same sign-in flow, then choose "Join" instead of "Create" and enter the code.
• Once joined, events appear on both phones in real time.

What does the conflict alert do?

If someone in your household creates an event that overlaps a time you've already booked, you get a notification — both in-app and as a push alert. The other person can still book over you (with a warning), so it's awareness, not a hard block.

Can I use Coplot without signing in?

Yes. Sign-in is opt-in. If you don't sign in, your events stay on your device and never leave it. You just can't share with another person without an account.

How do I delete my account?

Open Coplot → Settings → tap Delete account at the bottom. Or email auth@coplot.io from the address tied to your Coplot account.

How do I change my display name?

Settings → Account → Edit. Change "Your name" — it's what shows up next to events you create when other household members view them.

Privacy

Our privacy policy is at /privacy.html. Short version: we collect what's needed to make Coplot work (email, name, your event content), nothing else.
